Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) is a screen-aware desktop AI assistant that explains what a screenshot shows. Press Cmd+/ on macOS or Ctrl+/ on Windows and it reads the visible screen, whether that is an error dialog, a dashboard, a contract, or a chart, then answers in context. Show Me can point, circle, or underline the part it means, and the answer can go on to Gmail, Slack, or Notion. It runs on macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon or Intel), Windows 10+, and Linux; analysis uses Google's Gemini vision models through Jarvis's GDPR-aligned backend, so it requires an internet connection. Capture happens only when you invoke it — there is no continuous recording. The free tier allows 40 requests per week; Pro is $16/month (checked July 2026). Dragging in an existing screenshot file works too.

Most screenshot-AI tools make you do the work: capture, save, find the file, upload it, wait. Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) removes the loop. Press Cmd+/ (Ctrl+/ on Windows and Linux) and a small bar appears over whatever you're doing. It looks at your screen at that moment — the error message, the dashboard, the contract clause, the broken layout — explains what it sees, and, when you want, acts on it.

That last step is the real difference. Analysis of a static image is the floor. Acting on a live screen is the point.

A typical "analyze my screenshot" tool answers one question about one static image and is done. Three things make Jarvis different in kind, not degree:
