Jarvis AI security: young company, verifiable facts.

Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) is a screen-aware desktop assistant from LOGICLUB SMART SRL, Sibiu, Romania; the macOS build is signed and notarized by Apple.

The Windows installer, Jarvis-Setup-x64.exe, is Authenticode-signed by LOGICLUB SMART SRL, and release CI fails unless the signature is valid and the signer certificate names that company. On macOS, run spctl -a -vv /Applications/Jarvis.app to see "accepted, source=Notarized Developer ID". On Windows, check Properties then Digital Signatures before running the installer. The Linux AppImage is not code-signed, which is why the download source matters there.

Jarvis launched publicly in April 2026 and is built by Mihai Matei, its named founder, working solo. The product is young and the page says so rather than dressing it up; what replaces a long track record is a list of facts a reader can verify without trusting the vendor.

Prompts, screenshots, files, connector content and memory are never used to train AI models. OAuth connector tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Memory is stored in an encrypted database on your own device and the operator cannot read it. Account data and the database are stored in the EU while the application servers run in the United States, and both halves are stated because rounding that up to a blanket claim of European hosting would not be true.

Screen capture is on demand only: Jarvis does not watch the screen, takes at most one screenshot when you send a request with screen context enabled, does not store it, and can have screen context turned off. Connectors are opt-in with none attached on a fresh install, authorization happens in each service’s own OAuth screen, and every connector action can be set to always allow, ask before running, or blocked.

Jarvis holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification, publishes no third-party penetration test, and runs no paid bug-bounty program. Security reports go to [email protected], are acknowledged within 3 business days, and good-faith research is covered by a safe-harbour commitment.
