Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) is a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux, built by LOGICLUB SMART SRL in Sibiu, Romania. Press Cmd+/ on a Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows and Linux and a small bar appears over whatever you were doing. Ask a question and, when the question needs it, Jarvis takes one screenshot of the active window so the answer is about the thing in front of you rather than a description of it.

The mechanism, step by step: the shortcut is registered globally with the operating system, so it fires whether Jarvis is focused, visible or neither — that registration is what the Accessibility permission is for. A bar appears over the current window without anything switching. You type or speak the question; double-tapping Ctrl opens the microphone instead. If the question needs the screen, one screenshot of the active window is taken for that request. The request routes through Jarvis's own backend to a frontier model from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, with OpenAI's realtime model handling voice. The answer arrives in the bar, out loud, or as an action in a connected app.

Requirements: macOS 12 Monterey or newer on Apple Silicon or Intel with native builds for both; 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 on Intel or AMD, installed per-user with no administrator password; or an x86_64 Linux desktop running the AppImage, which needs libfuse2. Installers are roughly 271 MB on macOS, 266 MB on Windows and 414 MB on Linux. Two permissions are requested once during setup: Screen Recording, so the app can read the window you ask about, and Accessibility, so the bar can float above other applications.

The five capabilities that define it: screen context, one screenshot per request rather than continuous recording; on-screen pointing, a cursor Jarvis uses to point at, circle or underline an element so it shows you where to click instead of reciting a menu path; voice, a spoken conversation you can interrupt rather than dictation that hands back a transcript; connectors to Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion, Google Calendar, Drive, GitHub, Linear and around 30 more; and memory that carries context between sessions.

Plans: a free tier of 40 requests per week, plus a 7-day full Pro trial that requires no card. Pro is $16 a month or $144 billed yearly; Unlimited is $32 a month. All USD, cancel any time. User data and the database are stored in the EU, application servers run in the US, inference runs under contractual no-training terms, and OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

What it does not do, stated plainly: no mobile app, no offline mode, no self-hosting and no public source repository, no Windows ARM64 build and no .deb package yet, no reading of DRM-protected or capture-protected windows, and no published third-party reviews — it is a young product from a one-person company.
