Can AI draft emails in my voice?
Can AI draft emails in my voice?
Yes. Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) learns your voice from your sent Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail messages, then drafts replies that match your sentence length, formality, signoff, and vocabulary. Connect your inbox via OAuth, press Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows from any app, and ask Jarvis to draft a reply to the message on screen. Jarvis screenshots your current view for context, pulls the thread through the connector, and generates a response routed to the strongest available model for nuanced tone or a faster one for quicker turnarounds. The tone profile is stored in persistent memory and improves the more you use it. OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. Free tier covers daily drafting; Pro at $16/month and Unlimited at $32/month raise the quotas and add longer-context routing for harder messages.

Voice-matching AI is roughly two-stage. First, a profile-build pass: Jarvis reads (with your permission) your sent folder across Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail to extract structural signals — average sentence length, paragraph count, formality register, signoff variants, contraction frequency, emoji use, and vocabulary fingerprints. That profile is stored in Jarvis memory (pgvector + canonical v2 tables) so it carries across sessions. Second, a drafting pass: when you ask for a reply, Jarvis sends the inbound message, your profile, the conversation history, and any relevant memories to a frontier model with a system prompt instructing it to match the profile. The result is a draft that reads like you wrote it, not like ChatGPT wrote it. Jarvis improves the profile every time you accept, edit, or reject a draft, which means the system gets noticeably better after the first week of daily use.
Install Jarvis for macOS, Windows, or Linux. Sign in with email. Open Settings → Integrations and connect Gmail (or Outlook via Microsoft 365 OAuth, or Apple Mail via the native macOS connector). Grant the minimum read + draft scopes — Jarvis writes drafts into your client's Drafts folder so you always review before sending. Open the message you want to reply to in your usual mail client. Press Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows. Type "draft a reply" or be more specific: "draft a reply declining politely" or "draft a reply asking for the Q3 deck". Jarvis screenshots your screen, pulls the thread, and writes the draft into your Drafts folder within 4-8 seconds. You review, edit, and send from your normal client. Jarvis never sends mail on its own without an explicit confirmation step.
