Open the thread in Gmail or Outlook, press Cmd+/ on macOS or Ctrl+/ on Windows, and ask for the short version. It pulls out who said what, the decisions already made, the open questions, and what is now yours to do. It routes to frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google depending on length and complexity, so even a forty-message chain becomes a few readable lines. You can then ask it to draft a reply that fits the context. Tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted, and never used for training. It is free to start, then $16/month on Pro, so you reply informed instead of skimming.

Long threads are hard because positions shift, people are added, and the latest message assumes you read the previous thirty. Jarvis reconstructs the conversation in order, attributes points to the right participants, and tells you the current state: what is agreed, what is still open, and who is waiting on whom. For complex chains it leans on a frontier model, which handles long context well, so nuance does not get flattened. Instead of scrolling to the top and reading down, you get a structured digest that lets you walk into the reply already knowing the stakes and the history.
Because Jarvis is a screen-aware desktop assistant, you do not have to copy and paste the thread anywhere. If the conversation is open in Gmail, Outlook, or even a webmail tab, you summon the floating bar with Cmd+/ or Ctrl+/ and ask about what is on screen, and Jarvis reads it in place. This is faster than tools locked inside one mail client, and it works the same whether the thread is in your work or personal account. For threads not currently open, it can fetch them through the Gmail or Microsoft 365 connector instead.
