Can I Export or Delete My Data From Jarvis?

Yes. Because Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) is GDPR-compliant and GDPR-aligned servers, you have rights over your data, including access and deletion. Your persistent memory is user-controlled: open Jarvis with Cmd+/ (Ctrl+/ on Windows) and you can view, edit, or delete individual memories so Jarvis forgets specific things on demand. For a full erasure, request account deletion, which removes your server-side data under GDPR. Connector access is separate, you revoke each app, Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, from its own security settings, which invalidates the AES-256-GCM encrypted OAuth token Jarvis held. Jarvis never trained on your data in the first place, so deletion is about removing stored context, not unwinding training. The cloud models, frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, only ever saw what was needed per request. Plans start at $16/month when you need more than the free 40 requests/week.

The data Jarvis keeps about you, your persistent memory, is yours to manage directly. From the floating bar you can inspect what Jarvis remembers, change entries that are wrong or outdated, and delete anything you'd rather it forget. This granular control means you don't have to nuke everything to remove one stale fact. It's a more transparent model than an opaque history you can't audit. Because memory is stored server-side in the EU, your edits and deletions sync across devices, and a deleted memory stays gone rather than resurfacing on another machine.

When you want everything gone, GDPR backs a complete erasure. Requesting account deletion removes your server-side data from GDPR-aligned infrastructure, your memory, settings, and stored tokens. Because Jarvis operates under GDPR and the EU AI Act, this isn't a courtesy but a right, with defined handling. Note that deleting the desktop app alone does not erase cloud data, the two are separate, so a true exit pairs uninstalling the client with requesting deletion. Once processed, Jarvis retains nothing about you. The free plan (40 requests/week) and any paid plan are handled separately on the billing side.
