Jarvis treats the email and the calendar as two connected tools in a single chain. When you ask it to 'add this to my calendar,' it first reads the Gmail message — either the one on screen or one it fetches by search — and pulls out the start and end time, time zone, title, and any attendees. It then calls the Google Calendar connector to create the event, inviting the people listed if you ask. Because Jarvis sees your actual screen, you can also highlight a specific date in a long email thread and tell it 'use this one,' avoiding the wrong-date mistakes that pure inbox parsers make.
Both Gmail and Google Calendar connect through standard Google OAuth, so you grant scoped access and can revoke it anytime from your Google account.
