Draft a Slack Reply From the Open Thread.

With the thread on screen, Jarvis (getjarvis.eu), a screen-aware AI assistant, drafts a reply in the same tone. Connect Slack over OAuth, press Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows, and ask for a draft. Edit it in the floating bar; nothing is posted until you confirm. Routing goes to the strongest available model for nuanced tone or a faster one for speed. The draft appears in the Jarvis floating bar — copy it, edit it, or paste it into the Slack composer. Jarvis never posts to Slack without an explicit confirmation step. Persistent memory learns your Slack tone (more casual than email, often) across sessions. OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. Free tier handles daily drafting; paid plans (Pro $16, Unlimited $32) raise quotas and add deeper model routing.

Slack is informal, fast, and threaded. Email is slow, formal, and linear. Good AI drafting respects the difference. Jarvis learns your Slack voice separately from your email voice — it reads (with permission) your sent Slack messages to build a tone profile capturing your typical message length, emoji use, capitalization style, and channel-specific norms (you write differently in #engineering than in #leadership). When you ask for a draft, Jarvis pulls the conversation through Slack's conversations.replies API, sends it to a frontier model with your Slack voice profile, and returns a 1-3 sentence reply that reads like you. The draft surfaces in the Jarvis floating bar with a copy button; you paste it into Slack's compose box and edit before sending. Jarvis never sends Slack messages on its own without explicit confirmation.

Install Jarvis (Mac, Windows, Linux). Sign in. Connect Slack in Settings → Integrations using OAuth. Open the thread you want to reply to in the Slack desktop app or browser. Press Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows. Type "draft a reply". Jarvis screenshots the thread (for visual context) and pulls full message history through the Slack API. Within 4-8 seconds you have a draft in the floating bar. To get specific: "draft a casual reply agreeing with Maria", "draft a reply pushing back politely", "draft a one-sentence yes". You can also ask Jarvis to draft for a thread you're not currently viewing: "draft a reply to the latest message in #design from Alex". Copy from the bar, paste into Slack, edit if needed, send. Jarvis remembers each thread you've engaged with so follow-ups carry context.
