What happens on first launch?
Drag Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) into Applications and the screen-aware desktop AI assistant is installed on macOS. Jarvis 3.2.111 is the current build, served as a signed DMG for Mac, an NSIS installer for Windows, and an AppImage for Linux. Download the disk image from the site, open it, and drop the app in; macOS 12 Monterey or newer is required and the build is native on Apple Silicon. On first launch, grant Screen Recording, then press Cmd+/ to raise the floating bar. The free plan starts at 40 requests a week. Jarvis routes each task to frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google automatically. Signup gives you free plan (40 requests/week); after that, plans start at $16/month. Your OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and Jarvis never trains on your data, so connecting Gmail, Slack, or Notion later stays private by default.

Visit getjarvis.eu and click Download for Mac. Open the downloaded .dmg, then drag the Jarvis icon onto the Applications shortcut in the same window. Eject the disk image and launch Jarvis from Applications or Spotlight. The first time you open it, macOS shows a Gatekeeper prompt confirming the app is from an identified developer; click Open. Jarvis is notarized by Apple, so you should not see the unidentified-developer warning. Once running, Jarvis appears as a small floating bar rather than a Dock-heavy window, and an onboarding screen guides you through account sign-in and the one permission it actually needs to see your screen.
Jarvis ships an Apple Silicon (arm64) build optimized for M1, M2, M3, and later chips, so there is no Rosetta translation overhead on modern Macs. It requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer, which covers Ventura, Sonoma, and Sequoia. The app is small and launches in the background, staying out of your way until you press the Cmd+/ hotkey. Because Jarvis is a panel-style window that floats above other apps, it works the same whether you are in Safari, Xcode, Figma, or a Google Sheet, reading on-screen context without you switching windows or pasting anything in.
