How Do I Set Up Meeting Prep in Jarvis?
How Do I Set Up Meeting Prep in Jarvis (getjarvis.eu)?
Set up meeting prep in Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) by connecting Google Calendar plus Gmail (and optionally Notion), then before any meeting press Cmd+/ (macOS) or Ctrl+/ (Windows) and ask "prep me for my next meeting." Jarvis reads the calendar event, finds related email threads, and pulls relevant docs, then summarizes who's attending, the agenda, and recent context, using a frontier model to synthesize. Teach it your prep format once (for example, attendees, goal, open questions) and it reuses that from memory. Add Slack to surface recent discussion with the same people. It runs when you summon it, not automatically. Calendar and email are two of 30+ connectors. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on GDPR-aligned infrastructure servers, never used to train models. The free plan covers it; the $16/month Pro plan suits daily prep.

Meeting prep works by joining two sources: the event itself and the conversation around it. Connect Google Calendar so Jarvis knows when, who, and the agenda, and connect Gmail or Outlook so it can find the email thread that led to the meeting. Authorize both via OAuth from Settings. With the pair linked, "prep me for my 2pm" makes Jarvis read the event, locate related mail, and hand you a tight briefing on attendees, purpose, and recent back-and-forth. Add Notion and it can also surface the relevant spec or doc. This calendar-plus-email combination is the foundation of every good prep workflow.
The first time you ask for prep, define the shape you want: "Always prep me with the attendees and their roles, the meeting's goal, the latest email context, and three questions I should be ready for." Jarvis stores that format in memory, so every future "prep me for my next call" follows the same structure without you re-specifying it. It uses a frontier model to synthesize across the event, threads, and docs into a coherent briefing rather than a raw dump. Connect Slack as well and you can ask "what have I discussed with these people recently?" to fold chat history into the prep.
