Set Up Daily Email Triage in Jarvis.

What should count as urgent?

Email triage in Jarvis (getjarvis.eu), a desktop AI assistant, groups unread Gmail or Outlook threads by urgency. Connect Gmail or Outlook in Settings, then open the floating bar with Cmd+/ on macOS or Ctrl+/ on Windows and ask what needs a reply today. It summarizes each thread and drafts the responses for you to review before sending. You can chain follow-ups like "draft replies to the three time-sensitive ones" and review each before sending. Save the morning question to memory so Jarvis applies your definition of "urgent" (for example, anything from your manager or a customer). It works with one inbox or several work and personal accounts. Triage runs on the free plan (40 requests/week) at first; heavy daily use fits the $16/month Pro plan. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and Jarvis never trains on your mail.

Start in Settings by linking Gmail or Microsoft Outlook through OAuth. Once connected, the first triage run teaches Jarvis what "urgent" means to you. Say "From now on, treat email from my manager, our customers, and anything mentioning a deadline as urgent; everything else is low priority." Jarvis stores that rule in its persistent memory, so tomorrow's triage already knows your priorities without you repeating them. This is the difference between a one-off summary and a workflow: the rule persists. You can refine it any day with "also flag emails from the finance team" and the memory updates.

Each morning, press Cmd+/ or Ctrl+/ and run the sequence: (1) "Summarize my unread email by sender and topic." (2) "Which of these need a reply today?" (3) "Draft replies to the urgent ones in my usual tone." (4) Review and edit each draft, then send or save. Jarvis uses the strongest available model to weigh tone and urgency and a faster one when a thread is very long. Nothing sends automatically; you approve every reply. If you keep work and personal Gmail accounts linked, tell Jarvis which inbox to triage, or ask it to do both in turn.
