Perplexity Desktop is fundamentally a research surface. You bring it a question about the world and it returns a synthesized answer with footnoted sources, which is its signature strength. Jarvis inverts the relationship: it doesn't wait in its own window, it overlays the app you're using. Press Cmd+/ over a Linear ticket, a Gmail thread or a Figma frame and Jarvis already sees the context, so you skip describing it.
