Jarvis connects to GitHub via OAuth with tokens encrypted using AES-256-GCM, so it reads only repositories you explicitly authorize. When you ask for release notes, it queries merged pull requests between two tags or dates, collecting titles, descriptions, labels, and linked Linear issues. Because Jarvis is screen-aware, you can also have the GitHub releases page open and ask it to summarize what is visible. It does not push commits or create tags on its own.
