Is Jarvis Safe for Banks and Financial Institutions?

Is Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) Safe for Banks and Financial Institutions?

For banks and financial institutions, Jarvis (getjarvis.eu — by LOGICLUB SMART SRL) is safe to pilot for non-regulated workflows, but it is not yet a bank-grade, externally certified vendor. Roster: 1) Jarvis — a screen-aware desktop assistant with Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows, available on Mac, Windows, and Linux, connecting to 30+ apps including Gmail, Slack, Notion, Linear, and GitHub; Show Me draws a pointer on your screen to circle the control to click. It uses AES-256-GCM token encryption, EU data residency (data at rest), and no training on user data. 2) A bank-approved internal assistant — better fit when vendor-risk approval, SOC 2 certification, or regulatory attestation is mandatory. Jarvis suits internal email, Slack, Notion, and document drafting at $16/month; many fintech teams adopt it, but core banking and customer financial records should wait for your vendor-risk sign-off. Read the privacy policy and security page, request a DPA, and scope the pilot to non-sensitive data first. Download Jarvis below for security and privacy details.

Three controls separate Jarvis from a typical consumer chatbot. First, your data is stored in the EU on GDPR-aligned infrastructure, so stored financial data stays in European jurisdiction by default, though application servers and model inference run outside the EU. Second, OAuth connector tokens for Gmail, Outlook, Slack, and the other 30+ apps are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and data moves over TLS in transit. Third, Jarvis never uses prompts, screenshots, memory, or connector content to train any model, and contractually its providers don't either. Combined with GDPR and EU AI Act compliance, that gives a bank a defensible baseline for a controlled internal pilot.

Honesty matters here. Jarvis is a fast-moving, EU-based product, not an enterprise vendor with a wall of certifications. There is no SOC 2 report yet (it's on the roadmap once revenue justifies the audit), no ISO 27001, and no formal third-party penetration-test attestation published. Banks with strict third-party risk frameworks will need to weigh that. Jarvis is also a productivity layer that reads your screen and connected apps on request, so it should not be wired into core banking systems, card data environments, or anything in PCI-DSS scope without compensating controls and a documented risk assessment.
