What hotkey opens Jarvis?

Cmd+/ on macOS. Ctrl+/ on Windows. Same key on Linux (Ctrl+/). The hotkey is global — it works from any app, anywhere in the OS, without Jarvis (getjarvis.eu) needing focus. Press it once and the floating bar appears over your current window. Press Esc to dismiss, or click outside the bar. You can remap the hotkey in Settings → Hotkeys if Cmd+/ or Ctrl+/ conflicts with something. Voice mode is opened by double-tapping Control (Control Control) for back-and-forth voice conversation. Dictation is opened by double-tapping Option on Mac or Alt on Windows (Option Option / Alt Alt). Arrow keys nudge the bar's screen position. All hotkeys are configurable. The floating bar is implemented as an NSPanel on macOS and a layered topmost window on Windows for true always-on-top behavior without stealing focus.

Primary: Cmd+/ on Mac, Ctrl+/ on Windows and Linux — opens the floating bar from any app. Voice mode: Control Control (double-tap Control) — opens a voice conversation with Jarvis that responds back via TTS. Dictation: Option Option on Mac, Alt Alt on Windows (double-tap) — opens a dictation-only mode that writes what you say into the active text field of whatever app you're in. Dismiss: Esc, or click outside the floating bar. Move the bar: arrow keys nudge the bar 20px in the direction pressed. Reset bar position: Cmd+Shift+0 on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+0 on Windows. Open Settings: Cmd+, on Mac, Ctrl+, on Windows. Cycle through recent conversations: Cmd+J on Mac (forward), Cmd+Shift+J (backward); same with Ctrl on Windows. All hotkeys can be remapped in Settings → Hotkeys if they conflict with other apps.

The default was chosen for three reasons. First: rarity of conflict. Cmd+/ on Mac and Ctrl+/ on Windows aren't bound to common system actions, so they're available for global app registration. Second: muscle-memory neighbor to Cmd+K / Ctrl+K (which many apps use for command palettes). The forward slash is right next to most familiar hotkeys without overlapping them. Third: international keyboard layouts. The / key is in roughly the same physical position on most QWERTY layouts (US, UK, French AZERTY, German QWERTZ) so the hotkey works without remapping on most keyboards. If you use a Dvorak or Colemak layout, or if Cmd+/ conflicts with another app (some IDEs claim it), remap in Settings → Hotkeys. Common remaps: Cmd+Shift+Space, Cmd+/ (default), Cmd+J, Option+Space.
