With an email on screen, the Cmd+/ hotkey opens Jarvis's floating bar. It extracts the proposed meeting time, time zone, location or conferencing link, and the sender as a likely attendee. Jarvis then shows a draft event so you can fix the title or nudge the time, and only writes to Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar once you approve. Natural-language phrases like "next Tuesday at 3" or "lunch Thursday" are resolved against your current date. Because the assistant reads the rendered message rather than the raw header, it handles forwarded threads and quoted replies where the real date sits halfway down.
Most calendar-from-email tools rely on you forwarding the message to a bot address, which strips formatting and loses the thread.
