Two steps. (1) Download Jarvis-Setup-x64.exe from getjarvis.eu/download. (2) Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen may show a "Windows protected your PC" notice — choose More info, then Run anyway. Default install path is %LocalAppData%\Jarvis. The installer also registers Jarvis as a startup app (you can disable this in Settings → General). After install, Jarvis runs in the system tray. Press Ctrl+/ from any app to open the floating bar. First launch prompts you to sign in (email + password, no card required). The installer is about 266 MB and the install takes under 90 seconds on typical SSDs. There is no ARM64 build yet, so Windows-on-ARM devices (Surface Pro X, Snapdragon-based laptops) are not supported.
Three things differ on Windows. (1) Hotkey: Cmd+/ doesn't exist on Windows keyboards, so Jarvis defaults to Ctrl+/. You can rebind to anything in Settings → Keyboard. (2) Screen capture: uses the Windows Graphics Capture API on Windows 10 19041+, with fallback to BitBlt on older builds. Both methods are silent — no per-screenshot permission prompt. The first launch shows a Windows Defender SmartScreen permission for the install, but no recurring prompts during use. (3) System tray icon: Jarvis adds a tray icon (right-click for menu, double-click to open). On Windows 11 the icon respects the hidden-icons overflow. Notifications use Windows Notification Center. Everything else mirrors the Mac/Linux builds: same OAuth flow, same routing, same EU backend with AES-256-GCM.
