Jarvis uses Slack OAuth 2.0 with the channels:read, channels:history, groups:history, im:history, search:read, users:read, and chat:write scopes — the chat:write scope only fires when you explicitly approve a posted message. Open Settings → Integrations → Slack and authorize the Jarvis app for your workspace. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored at rest. On every request, Jarvis pulls only the channels and threads named in your prompt, sends them to the routing model (a frontier model by default, a long-context model for long histories), and returns the answer in the floating bar. Drafts never auto-post. Disconnect any time from Settings or from your Slack workspace's installed-apps page, which immediately revokes Jarvis's tokens.
