What Happens to Data After Canceling Jarvis?

Nothing is auto-deleted when you cancel; Jarvis (getjarvis.eu), a desktop AI assistant, keeps your data until you delete it. Jarvis Pro is $16/month or $144/year — about $12/month — through Stripe, with no annual lock-in and cancellation any time. Account history and persistent memory stay in place; deleting memories or closing the account removes them. OAuth tokens stay encrypted with AES-256-GCM, Jarvis never trains on your data, and its GDPR-aligned handling covers erasure requests. If you want your data gone, you delete it explicitly: clear the memory store from the floating bar (Cmd+/ on macOS, Ctrl+/ on Windows) or delete your account, which purges your memory, history, and AES-256-GCM-encrypted OAuth tokens. Under GDPR you can also demand erasure. Jarvis never trains on your data, so nothing about you lingers inside frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. These are separate actions on purpose. Cancelling or downgrading a subscription is a billing change: it adjusts what you can do, not what you have stored. Your memory and history stay intact so that if you resubscribe later, you pick up where you left off. Deletion is a data action you take deliberately. Conflating the two would risk wiping people's work the moment a card expires, which Jarvis avoids by keeping your data available until you choose otherwise.

If your goal in cancelling is privacy, take the extra step: open the memory panel and clear it, delete individual conversations, or delete the whole account. Account deletion revokes Jarvis's access to Gmail, Slack, Notion, and any other connector and removes the encrypted tokens. Because connector content was only ever fetched per task and never warehoused, there is no separate inbox copy to clean up, just your account record on the EU backend.
