The best first connectors map to the apps you already open dozens of times a day. For knowledge workers that's almost always email (Gmail or Microsoft Outlook), calendar (Google Calendar), and team chat (Slack). Connect these and Jarvis can answer the three questions that recur every morning: what needs a reply, what's on my schedule, and what did I miss in chat. Resist connecting all 30+ apps in your first session; each extra connector adds little until you have a reason to query it. A focused trio teaches you the assistant's value faster than a wall of linked cards.
Once email, calendar, and chat are linked, add the one app that defines your job. Engineers connect GitHub and Linear so Jarvis can read issues, pull requests, and code changes. Product and ops people connect Notion for specs and docs. Designers connect Figma. Sales and CRM-heavy roles lean on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. This fourth connector is where Jarvis starts doing work specific to you rather than generic inbox triage. Each links the same way, OAuth from its Settings card, and Jarvis uses the strongest available model for reasoning and a long-context model for big documents, and a faster model for general drafting across all of them.
