Jarvis is our product and it loses four of the eight rows, one of them to Siri directly. Siri wins price outright at 10/10 against Jarvis’s 6/10, because Apple Intelligence carries no separate subscription on hardware you already own — that is the strongest argument on the page for not switching at all. ChatGPT and Alexa+ both beat Jarvis on voice, 10 to 8. ChatGPT scores 10 on platform breadth and Gemini, Claude and Perplexity score 9, against Jarvis’s 7, because they follow you onto a phone and Jarvis does not. And Jarvis scores 3/10 on maturity and ecosystem, dead last of eight.

Which Siri job are you replacing? Talking to your phone, watch or CarPlay: nothing, Siri stays — ChatGPT and Gemini ship excellent iPhone apps and ChatGPT can sit behind the Action button, but they are apps you open, not a voice that wakes the device, and Jarvis has no iOS app at all. Can I replace Siri on my iPhone? Not as the system assistant. “Hey Siri”, the lock screen, the Action button, the Apple Watch, HomePod and CarPlay are Apple’s and are not available to third parties. What you can do is install a better assistant as an app, and route hard questions through Apple’s own ChatGPT integration in Siri. Jarvis cannot help here at all — it is a desktop application for macOS 12+, Windows 10/11 and Linux x86_64 with no iOS, iPadOS, watchOS or CarPlay build.

What is the best Siri alternative for Mac? The strongest free competitor is Gemini’s native macOS app, which costs nothing, needs macOS 15 or later, and can be granted window access. Raycast Pro at $10/month is the cheapest paid option and includes Screen Awareness and Memory inside a launcher you would keep open anyway. Claude Desktop is the pick for long documents and code but is the weakest voice product here at 4/10.

A note on what Apple has actually shipped, because it changes the comparison. Read from Apple’s own pages on 25 August 2026, several Siri capabilities are listed as coming later this year rather than shipping: Siri AI in English (beta), Write with Siri, proofreading as you type, Call Context, improved dictation, and suggestions in Messages and Mail. Apple also states that Visual Intelligence onscreen awareness is available on iPhone and coming to Mac and iPad. Nothing from that unshipped list is scored on this page.

Google’s US dollar AI-plan prices render dynamically and could not be re-read, so the $19.99 Google AI Pro figure is the 19 August reading and is marked on the row. One product is discussed and deliberately not ranked: superwhisper, because we could not read a reliable paid price from its site, and a rubric with a 14% price weight cannot score a product whose price we have not seen.
